A majolica bowl with traces of breakage, a saddle blanket with jaguar skin, a contradictory mother-and-child sculpture and a group of toxic traditional hats: It all started with a speed-dating session with objects from the conservation class, in which we got to know our exhibits. We questioned them, listened to their many voices – some loud, some quiet – and uncovered their stories. Which questions haven’t been asked yet?
